What about Bob?
With a hat-tip to the Christian Conservative blog, just as I called it, Bob Rae has some thoughts on a Lib-Dip coalition.
Remember what I said just the other day:
As I always do, look at this from another point of view... a certain someone and Jean Chretien were on PowerCorp. Chretien likes Dion and brought him into cabinet. In first leadership race after Martin steps down, a certain someone drops out and supports Dion on last ballot, not Iggy.Again, I ask, if Michael Ignatieff's poll numbers weren't so low, would anyone be talking about a coalition?
Do you think the NDP grassroots would ever want to be in a coalition with Ignatieff? I don't think so. But perhaps a certain someone. Someone who was a former provincial NDPer himself.

I remember what I wrote on April 25,
Iggy's Dilemma: What About Bob?

Probably, but not as many.
But given that he is not likely to win a majority in the next election, he will need support of other parties in any case.
The British example of cooperating for the good of the country is far superior to the endless Harper charade of manipulation and bullying. So coalitions will be discussed. It is also effective at making Harper think he can govern as if he had a majority. That thinking extends to his socon base, and he is in full appeasement mode now.
Ensuring that everyone is aware of that so-con agenda (no longer hidden), is the overall goal.
