Ignatieff claims to be an American 22 times in 2 minute speech

Listen to this two minute speech from Michael Ignatieff and how many times he says "us" and "we" in reference to Americans.  I just don't get how anyone can trust a word this guy says about anything, let alone calling our hockey-loving Prime Minister as "unCanadian".  Unbelievable.

So what? Is anti-Americanism now in vogue for hyperpartisan tory idiots like you?

Got nothing to come back with but name calling huh. Typical.

No Anon, anti-Americanism is more a Liberal thing but us conservatives and I suspect many Americans think that the arrogance of lying and pretending to be an American telling them how tough it is to be 'them' is flat wrong and goes to show the type of character, or lack of it, that the speaker has.

I don't have a problem with him talking about America or about it being his country. That's when he was away and not even in politics.

The issue I have is:
Don't claim to know what it's like to be a Canadian and what we have enjoyed and endured over the last 35 years.

I mean you've only been back for the last 6 years. You weren't even here when the firt red book was printed.

And he wonders why his approval ratings are in the dump!!

Hey anon, I bet you were the guy bashing the Yanks when Bush was president. I bet you never had a good word to say about any of them back then. I know your type, even your wife/husband/spouse shouldn't trust you. (real conservative)
