Another death too many...

This is shameful. I can't, for the life of me, understand why tasers are still being used by the RCMP and other authorities in this country, when even one unjustified death occurred over 9 years ago.

19 deaths? By a taser?

The robocop nation continues.

well hel-f'ing-lo. What is it going to take for them to clue in.

When I saw the incident with the Polish man at the YVR airport on CBC a couple of weeks ago, I felt physically ill. It was some of the most awful reality tv I've ever seen and I was horrified that it was Cdn footage. The very next night we were doing a Canada display with a cardboard mountie and I wasn't feeling too proud to be displaying it.

The only reason I did was because I knew the Americans who would be coming by the display would be oblivious to this bit of Cdn news - this was prior to CNN featuring it.

Awful....
