Long Gun Registry? Scrapped!

Finally.  That only took, what 17-18 years?  And 6 years with a Conservative gov't.  Promise kept.

Unless the government revokes the Liberals' Firearms Act which basically makes all gun owners criminals unless they can prove their innocence this tiny step is meaningless. Furthermore I note elsewhere where the government is seeking to further criminalise gun owners with an outrageous new requirement for storing ammunition. Long, long way to go still.

The injuction is meaningless, since the registry is the data and judges are not legislators, only Parliament is.

The biggest joke was the NDP. When Harper had a minority GOVT. the NDP had a whipped vote. All voted with the NDP party. This time, when PM Harper has a majority and it didn't matter how the orangies voted, they had two NDP who tried to save face and voted against the party. What a BS party.MP Charley Angus is a phoney and a lier on the gun registry.

It took 18 years for the people to get their way and get rid of the registry then, immediately, surprise surprise! A damned judge throws down an injunction to preserve it.

    What a total "shocker".

But the judges aren't activist oh noooooooo.
